Warning: major character death, noncon torture and murder
AU where Jon reads Jonah's statement in full, but it doesn't work; Jon only has powers that the entities were able to grant him, and can't hurt the world beyond anything they've managed before, so it fizzles out like every other ritual. And then the Archive team know exactly how much Jonah is guilty of - the attacks he arranged against them, the body count of his first failed ritual, the way he's made attempt after attempt and will continue to do so.
Jon and Martin get back in touch with Basira, manage to round up Daisy, and set aside all other concerns to hunt down and kill Jonah in both his bodies. All of them already wanted to kill him, and wanted it to hurt. The difference now is that they've prioritised it above the possible collateral damage and competing threats that they were worried about before, and they're prepared to blind themselves in a hurry if they feel any spooky backlash.
They may have differing levels of squeamishness about how slowly they want to kill him, and how much they'll enjoy it. But they don't differ enough for Jonah to exploit any cracks in the team, no matter how desperately he tries any last minute manipulations. If Martin tires of the torture before Daisy does? Then he leaves her to it, and comes back to see for himself when Jonah's dead. If Jon's ashamed of enjoying it? Doesn't stop him, once he's made up his mind. Basira? Sure has some frustrations to vent, and no qualms about killing this kind of monster.
Bonuses: - Taunting Jonah about Peter's death - Sexual assault elements to the sadism kink (very optional) - Making a recording (tapes as usual?), asking Jonah for another statement when he's beyond words - Basira seeing this as a way to feed Daisy with a hunt, both in the 'feed your god' sense and being unperturbed if Daisy cannibalises Jonah's body - avoiding harm to OG Elias' body once the eyes are gone, in case he's still in there - three shots 'for Gertrude' - Telling Melanie
Prompt: team archive vs Jonah, noncon snuff after failed ritual
