Part of the reason season one Jon takes such a dislike to Martin is because he and Jon are the same flavor of neurodivergent, be it autistic, ADHD, or something else. Jon probably isn't consciously aware of this fact, but on some level he resents the fact that Martin doesn't run himself ragged trying to pass as neurotypical the way Jon does.

Bonus points if we get to see Jon eventually loosen his grip on his neurotypical worksona - absent mindedly fluttering his hands, letting his eyes wander during conversation instead of forcing himself to maintain uncomfortably deliberate eye contact, etc.
