Jon is subdued and raped by one of the avatars (I was picturing either Peter, Elias or Annabelle but feel free to get creative) in front of multiple members of the archives crew who are unable to do anything but watch. As an avatar of beholding, the knowledge that they're watching everything horrible that's happening to him arouses him just as much as it shames him, if not more.

Holy shit, I was thinking later on when he’s more obviously inhuman but can you imagine, like, season 2/pre-80 Jon both fully convinced everyone hates him and with absolutely zero framework for understanding any element of why he’s getting off on it?

OP- Just thinking of the potential time frames and how that changes things is so exciting. Late season 2 when not-Sasha is still with them and everyone is mad at Jon and he knows absolutely nothing. Or early/mid season 3 where Jon still hasn't gotten answers from Gerry and is scared from being hurt and kidnapped every other day and Daisy actively wants him dead. Season 4 when he has so many burned bridges and is mourning his own vanishing humanity would also hurt a lot.
