Prompt: Jon/Martin, s3 harassment pushes them together faster

Late s3, with tempers running high and traumatised coworkers lashing out at each other, what if some of them (Melanie, Tim, Daisy?) went a bit further than canon and tried to mess with Martin over his crush on Jon; criticism to his face, angry sarcasm about being into Jon themselves, escalating into nasty comments to and/or fake flirting with Jon, unwanted touching that they write off as nothing too far over the line (shoulders, wrists etc) but which anyone less angry would definitely class as harassment?

Which rapidly escalates Martin's attitude from jealous and uncomfortable to pissed off and protective, such that he tells off the others for Jon's sake and gets firm about creating some breathing space for him, after all the recent trauma. (i.e. getting him away from the others, to talk things through and offer reassurance in the tunnels / office / outside the institute.) Which results in Jon being quicker to lean on Martin for comfort, emotionally and physically, and act on his developing crush, until they consummate things as far as they'd ever intend to (make-outs or sex, depending on Jon's shade of ace).

Bit of a rescue romance vibe, basically? (Without the others acting a million miles away from their behaviour in canon. I mean considering Melanie 'made everyone cry' in s3, it's not too much of a stretch that the atmosphere would get toxic in this particular way too?)
