Re: Fill: Jon&Tim Uh oh, you did a bad (2/4)
Date: 2021-04-18 05:46 am (UTC)Elias smiled as he watched his archivist.
The cleaning bill for the office would be annoying, blood was just so annoying to get out of the cement and wood, but the 'sight' of Jon was worth it.
His knee, and how unfortunate, the knee of his good leg, was bent at an awkward angle, probably due to the partially shattered bones and swollen muscle. That would require some very intensive surgery to correct, and was unlikely to ever be the same again.
What a shame.
Thankfully, the damage to his stomach and chest were superficial enough to not affect his internal organs, although the bruising would hurt constantly.
Similarly, the head knocks were minor enough to cause no long lasting damage, although Jon would have a killer headache when he awoke.
No, the only thing that annoyed Elias was the damage Stoker had done to his precious archivists' voice. The bruising around his throat was ridged perfectly to match the pattern of fingers, and it would make it both painful to breath, and impossible to talk.
Even now, while still unconscious from the choking, there was an echo of pain on the Archivist's face with every breath in and out.
Delicious.
(hmm, the damage from the table though, that could be a problem)
--
Standing in the archive's bathroom, Tim looked at himself in the mirror.
After punching out his feelings, he'd expected more of a sense of relief, of catharsis. But Jon had given him nothing. He'd begged him to stop instead of fighting back, and just been so bloody passive.
He was not having a breakdown.
He'd already had it. He'd snapped and... Fuck.
Poor Jon. Had he really... ?
Fuck.
The crack of Jon's knee as he'd ... He'd ...
And the feel of his hands around Jon's throat, making him be quiet -
Oh, around his throat. Had Jon been breathing when -
Tim grabbed the first aid kit from under the sink and ran back into Jon's office.

Date: 2021-04-18 05:59 am (UTC)Consciousness came in waves.
Pain.
Numbness.
Every breath was a flood of pain in his neck and chest.
The ceiling swam into view, patches of grey and white and blue and silver and red and -
Consciousness came in waves.
Pain.
Numbness.
Every twitch was a rush of pain in his head and stomach.
Why was he on the ground? Why did everything hurt? What happened?
The ceiling swam into view, patches of red and grey and blue and -
Consciousness came in waves.
Pain.
Numbness.
And there was a white hot pain in his lower back, although at least none in his legs.
The ceiling swam into view, and with it the realisation Jon was lying on the floor next to his desk.
Pain. So much pain. Too, too much pain?
Head, bad. So much.
Doctor. No, doctors are too loud. Martin? Yes, Martin could help.
Jon tried to call out, and the white hot pain in his throat overwhelmed him -
Consciousness came in waves.
Pain.
Numbness.
He needed to sit up, get up, find Martin?
Yes, Martin would make this better.
Need to stand up first. Or, sit up first. Yes.
Jon rolled onto his side, trying to grab at the desk leg to pull himself up.
He rolled too far, his ribs slamming into the ground and -
Pain, Numbness.
Jon pushed up from the ground, trying to get his legs under him to at least sit up, but they werent cooperating.
He looked down at them, unmoving from where he -
The office door opened, and Jon felt his heart leap in his chest.
Tim stood in the doorway, hands covered in blood, and everything rushed back.
Tim had tried to kill him. Tim was coming back to finish the job.
Jon's breath picked up, pain in his chest causing each gulp of air to only make it halfway to his lungs before giving up.
He grabbed at the desk and began to pull himself under it, try to protect himself from Tim.
After a moment, he was pulled back from under the desk but an unseen force. Tim?
Nononono. He couldnt - the memory of the pain, the punches, the -
Nonono.
Everything went
Re: Fill: Jon&Tim Uh oh, you did a bad (4/4)
Date: 2021-04-18 05:59 am (UTC)"Jon - "
Jon began to gasp for air, trembling on the floor as he tried to grab at the desk leg and pull himself away.
"Jon, no stop, I'm sorry."
Grabbing at Jon's legs, Tim pulled him back out from under the desk. After a moment, the resistance disappeared.
"Are you okay?"
Jon stared back towards Tim, empty eyes unfocussed and pupils wide and blank.
Tim gently patted the cheek that wasnt swollen with bright red, "Jon, can you hear me?"
There was no response, okay okay. His eyes were already open, but there was still no response.
"Jon, whats your name? Jon?"
Still nothing, so Tim gently grabbed his hand, "Squeeze my hand. Jon?"
Okay okay, next was. Uh. Next was. Check the pulse? No, check the breathing? No there were other things that went first.
"Dammit!"
Tim had expected a flinch, or something in response to his outburst, but there was nothing.
Hospital. This was a hospital thing, right?
And they'd learned from Prentiss, no paramedic would come down into the archives.
Tim knelt down and grabbed one of Jon's arms, groaning with effort as he lifted the smaller man to the ground. Jon gave no response to the movement, and wasn't even capable of holding his own weight up.
This would be a long walk upstairs.
(I dont know if they teach COWS in the UK, but its the exact kind of thing that, if Tim had taken basic first aid, he would likely remember and incorrectly use.)
(CW for violence and heavily implied spinal cord injury)
Not sure I'm happy with where it ended, and may do an epiloge at some point. who knows.
